Timeline

Stage A: online registration for grade 8 students — 10.2.26-16.2.26 (closed).
Placement published — 15.3.26.
Appeal deadline — 18.3.26 (via the link sent by SMS).
Stage B: registration on high school websites — 24.3.26-26.3.26.
Requests to return to the anchor high school — submitted after placement, within 5 days.
Personal interviews for the science class — 4.6.26 and 8.6.26.
Interview for the visual arts track — 30.4.26.

Kalay: Borochov, Brenner and Ben-Gurion.
Ort Kreisman: Gordon and Katzenelson.
Shimon Ben Zvi: Shimoni and Yigal Alon.
Leah Goldberg students: registration by home address.
Thelma Yellin (national arts school): registered by zone opposite the school, admission after a screening process.
Beit Shel Tamar (special education): registered by zone, admission after a classification and eligibility committee.
If a non-anchor high school is chosen and demand exceeds the quota, a lottery is held.

Kalay – science class: interviews 4.6.26 and 8.6.26.
Thelma Yellin: entrance exams began in mid-February 2026; open evenings 2.2.2026-4.2.2026; workshops 8.2.2026-12.2.2026 at 300 NIS each (optional).
